Arnwood Pony Stud Pty Ltd

Arnwood is a family owned stud operated by my daughter Ruth &
myself Jaccy. It is located on the Cnr of Midland Hwy & Starritt
Rd, Tatura, only a 15 minute drive from Shepparton and 2 hour &
15 minute drive from Melbourne CBD.

It has been my life long ambition to breed New Forest Ponies.
Having been exposed to them from a very early age. My childhood
home was situated in New Milton, which is part of the New Forest.

I became re-acquainted with the breed in 1999 with the purchase
of a yearling colt. Many hours have been spent researching
pedigrees to source suitable foundation stock with, not only
temperament, type, movement & performance, but also diversity
of bloodlines.

Outside stallions & imported semen have been used to help
broaden the gene pool.

All our ponies have full equine passports and are registered in the
New Forest Pony Stud Book (UK).

Since beginning the stud we have made regular trips to the New
Forest, and have been fortune enough to host vistors from the
New Forest and the Continent.

We are members of the New Forest Pony Breeding & Cattle Society
UK, founding members and committee members of the New Forest
Pony Association of Australia Incorporated. I'm also the show
co-ordinator for the NFPAA Inc Open Mountain & Moorland Show
held at the Barastoc Horse of the Year Show.

Arnwood is proud to sponsor of the Youngstock Mountain &
Moorland Section of this show and the NFPAA Inc Performance
Pony of the Year Competition.
