8th Foal for the Season
Yarborough Gaiety has produced the 8th foal for the season, a long waited for lovely big bay filly with white markings by Furzley Brocaide, but unfortunately lived less than 12hrs.

Ashbridge Blue Bell has produced the 7th foal for the season, a bay colt with no white markings by Luckington Sportaide who will be retained.

6th Foal for the Season
Lachearnleigh Marakech has produced the 6th foal for the season, a brown COLT with no white markings by Balatara Santana. Currently to date only colt Marakech has produced her previous 5 foals all fillies

5th Foal for the Season
Arnwood Nikita has produced the 5th foal for the season, a brown filly with no white markings by Furzley Brocaide. This is currently being retained for future breeding program.

Official HRCAV Combined Training
River Valley Tiptoe competed in his first Official HRCAV Combined Training Competition at Wangaratta. He scored a huge 83.2% in his Level 3 Dressage phase (Test 3B) and jumped clear in the showjumping leg.
This was Tippys first ever 'look' at a showjumping course!!
He went on to win the Overall Level 3 Combined Training, beating the 'big boys' from 15 competitors and the ONLY pony in this Level.

Arnwood Minuet (First Cross New Forest / Section A Riding Pony) has produced the 4th foal for the season, a bay filly by Balatara Santana. Although I don't think this one will is going to stay a pony.

Second Foal for the Season
Arnwood Silhouette has produced the second foal for the season, a dark bay FILLY with no white markings by Balatara Santana. This is Silhouette's first foal, and to date the 3rd filly foal produced by Santana.

North East & Border RPG WP&CSOA Annual Performance Show 2009
Thank you Norm Clark, Julie Tozer, Marg & Ash Catto for all the work they put into getting Arnwood Sweet Virginia & River Valley Tiptoe to the North East & Border RPG WP&CSOA Annual Performance Show.
River Valley Tiptoe ridden by Norm clark, won his qualifier for the Native Pony Championships to be held at the Welsh National Show in March & was Champion Ridden Native Pony, he also placed 4th in his Novice Dressage (2C) test . Tiptoe also won his Ridden Open stallion class and went on to become Reserve Champion Ridden Open stallion from 6 others.
Arnwood Sweet Virginia also ridden by Norm Clark placed 4th in her Open Newcomer, 3rd in her Open Ridden and 4th in her Prelim Dressage test.

First Foal for the Season
Arnwood Philomena has produced the first foal for the season, a dark bay colt with a white snip & 2 white socks by Balatara Santana. Philomena is the half sister to 2 of our Stallions Arnwood Destiny & Arnwood Fionnbharr, so this colt is available for sale.
New Homes!
We wish Jodie Finnigan (Elcairm Farm) best of luck with her new filly roan Arnwood Temperance (by Applewitch Pure Magic out of Arnwood Nikita) who will make an asset to Jodie's breeding program.
We're also very excited to have Elcarim Florentine (by Lachearnleigh Talisman x Yarborough Gaiety) joining our foundation broodmares, and will be looking forward to River Valley Starbelle coming home later.

ASPR Victorian Pony Challenge 2009
Thank you to Norm Clark who competed River Valley Tiptoe in the Official Prelim tests who placed 9th in 1A with 66.00% & 14th in 1D with 60.455% placing him 13th overall in the Prelim Championship. Also a big Thank you to Kasey Tozer who competed Elcarim Hendrix, just recently broken in by Ash Catto, & not only his first ever dressage test but also his first outing under saddle. Henry competed in Prelim Tests 1A - 9th out of 18 with a score of 58.0% & 1C - 8th of 18 with a score of 55.455%, giving him 7th with a score of 55.455% in the Associate Prelim Championship.

Cobram Horse Trials 2009
Arnwood Sweet Virginia & Ash Catto, at Ginnie's first Horse Trials. They did extreamly well placing 4th in Open Grade 3.

Tatura Show 2009
Arnwood Sweet Virgina, showed very promising results, winning her saddle class at her first outing, Ridden Part Bred Mountain & Moorland, then going on to take out Reserve Champion Ridden Part Bred Mountain & Moorland & placing 2nd in the Led Part Bred Mountain & Mooorland.

River Valley Tiptoe Top 5 at Melbourne Summer Royal 2009
Campaigned by Jahnae & Karen Parish of Karanah Park who have done a wonderful job preparing him. Tippy placed well in all his classes including open led & ridden stallion. Led by Mark Brown Tippy was Champion Led New Forest, Supreme Champion Mountain & Moorland and went onto make the Top 5 of the Show. Unfortunately his ridden new forest class was omitted from the entry, but there is always next year.

Foals expected for 2009
After relocating the stud & having a year off with no foals. We are very excited to be expecting 8 foals for the season, including 5 which are by our stallion Balatara Santana, who we've had much interest in his progeny for their exceptional movement, 2 to the Hipwell Brothers imported stallion Furzley Brocaide & 1 by AI to Luckington Sportaide.
