Starbelle is from the tightly-held River Valley Stud's mare line, out of their wonderful old mare River Valley Dancing Shoes, who is the foundation of their breeding mares being the only filly foal from the Tantany Red Shoes x Merrie Meon. Starbelle's sire, Forestway Royal Ascot, would be one of the most influential New Forest Ponies to be imported to Australia. Starbelle had one filly for Lachearnleigh Stud (Lachearnleigh Enchantress) and one filly for Elcarim Farm (Elcarim Starlight), both of which have been retained by the studs for future breeding, and three colt foals Elcarim Stardust who has been sold to Bankswood Stud becoming their foundation stallion, Arnwood Zebadee who is currently for sale as an entire and Elcarim Blues For Salvador, who has been retained by Elcarim farm as a saddle pony.
